Mitcham Cricket Club its time to roll up your sleeves and get involved in our 2023 Blood drive with Lifeblood. Last year we came first in the team challenge and we are looking to do it again in 2023. the challenge runs from August 1st thru to October 31st. Did you know that team Mitcham Cricket Club have donated 57 timeas this year and that equates to approx 171 lives saved! An amazing effort. This all started when young Riley was diagnosed with Leukemia last year and we were looking for a way to support the family, and even though his treatment is still ongoing, we hope to see him involved with his mates in some capacity on the cricket field. We are now looking for your help with a very ambitious target of 100 donations in the 3 month period. How can you help and be involved? You can donate at a Blood Donor Centre like the one in Ringwood - Blood / Plasma / Platelets - they are all so valuable and needed constantly. If you are unable to donate, help by recruiting people to join the team and donate on your behalf. People are unable to donate for many reasons, but your help in promoting and encouraging is just as valuable. This year we have reached out to the great people at Jellis Craig Whitehorse , Eastern Honda , Back In Motion Mitcham , Atlas Broker to help bolster numbers. thanks for your support.
